The Dutch foundation
The Dutch foundation The Kinks Preservation Society was founded on the
16th of July 1999 by 5 Dutch Kinks-fans:
Paul van Schevikhoven (chairman), Ruud Kerstiens (secretary), Huub Goudzwaard
(treasurer), Siem van den Bergh and me (members).

In 2005 there were some changes: Paul left the committee, Huub became
chairman, Siem became treasurer and Dick van Veelen became new member.

Once in a while we organize Dutch
Kinks fan meetings. The 3rd one was the first one we organised as an official
foundation:
#3 on the 12th of September 1999
in "Stairway to Heaven" in Utrecht
#4 on the 25th of March 2001 in "Stairway to Heaven" in Utrecht
#5 on the 21st of April 2002 in "Stairway to Heaven" in Utrecht
#6 (Ray's birthday party) on the 21st of June 2003 in "Park 3" in
Harderwijk
#7 (You really got me - 40 years) on the 12th of September 2004 in
"Stairway to Heaven" in Utrecht
#8 (Run away from time) on the 19th of February 2006 in "Stairway to
Heaven" in Utrecht
#9 (You can't stop the music) on the 29th of April 2007 in "Stairway to
Heaven" in Utrecht
